Holiday closures for this summer term include:

May 23-May 25: Closed for the Memorial Day holiday

June 19-20: Closed for the Juneteenth holiday

July 3-5: Closed for the Independence Day holiday

Need a laptop for the spring semester? Apply now!

The application to borrow a loaner laptop from Brown Library for the Spring 2026 semester is open! To qualify, students must be enrolled in at least one course for fall and not have access to a computer at home. Apply by January 14th for priority consideration. There are a limited number of laptops, so apply early! Beginning January 15th, notifications will be sent to student email accounts whose applications were approved. Approved applicants may begin checking out laptops on January 20th.

]]> We can’t wait to see you in the library. Brown Library has the following hours for this semester:

Monday – Thursday 8am-8pm
Friday 8am-5pm
Saturday 9am-1pm

We’re closed whenever the college closes for inclement weather, emergencies, or holiday breaks.

The Testing Center is located on the ground floor and can assist with placement testing, online course tests, CLEP tests, and more. The Academic Link is located on the middle floor with an open computer lab, study rooms, open study space, and staff to assist with tutoring and academic coaching needs. Computers have general software installed, including Microsoft Office, Zoom, Respondus Lockdown Browser, and special course programs like AutoDesk & the Adobe Creative Suite. The computer lab is accessible for students whenever the library is open. The Library is located on the top floor with the Writing & Research Center, a small open computer lab, books, course reserve materials, anatomy models, study rooms, and dedicated quiet space. We have a lot to offer all in one building and hope to see you many times throughout the semester!

Fall Laptop Application is Now Open!

We’re excited to partner with 91Ó°ÊÓÆƽâ°æ IET Services to offer loaner laptops to qualifying students for the Fall 2025 semester. To qualify, students must be enrolled in at least one course for fall and not have access to a computer at home. Students who are affiliated with the military, CCAP, or TRiO will have priority consideration. The application to borrow a loaner laptop is now open with a deadline of August 18 for priority consideration. There are a limited number of laptops, so apply early! Approved loaner laptop applicants may begin checking out laptops on August 20.
