- $5,055,788 for Emergency Institutional Grants.
- $270,093 for Emergency Strengthen Institutions Program (SIP) Grants.
HEERF III – ARP
- $5,749,834 for Emergency Direct Aid Grants to Students.
- $5,574,035 for Emergency Institutional Grants.
- $510,022 for Emergency Strengthen Institutions Program (SIP) Grants.

- October 10th 2022- Virginia Western has no new disbursements of HEERF funds with a total of $40,422 remaining in unspent funds.

- Virginia Western was allocated $5,749,834 for direct to student aid. Distribution of these funds will begin with the Fall 2021 term. (July 10th, 2021)
- The first disbursement of HEERF III funds from the American Rescue Plan will begin 10/13/2021. Eligible students should expect to receive funds within 7-10 business days from 10/13/2021. Awarding eligibility will be similar to HEERF I and HEERF II direct to student aid awards. (as of October 10th, 2021)
